RRLRC Family Fun Day 4x4 Gymkhana Event 2024

On Sunday 22nd September we are putting on 4x4 Gymkhana Family Fun Day Event with multiple fun tasks suitable for all ages.

The day will start at 9am and finish around 4pm

Location: Edenfield, Sand Bed Lane, Bury - What3words: vibrate.shock.pokers

The idea of the event is to create a fun day out for all the family.

The event will consist of teams taking part in around 9 individual tasks whilst off road.

A bit like our War of the Roses event but less focus on the vehicle and with tasks more suitable for all age groups.

A task could be:

complete a course blindfold whilst being directed by only four sounds to indicate which way to travel, or

hook a duck from the vehicle whilst following a set course.

All equipment for each task will be supplied by ourselves

We would advise wearing suitable clothing and footwear for outdoor type event.

What you need to enter:

Road legal 4x4 vehicle

At least 1 adult per team

Minimum 2 people per team (max number limited by number of seats in vehicle being used, ie 5 seater vehicle, max 5 person team)

1 vehicle can be used by multiple teams

People entering can be in multiple teams

Teams can run the tasks more than once (after all teams have completed all tasks once)

Children entering must be accompanied by parent or guardian

If entering with a Land Rover / ALRC class vehicle.  You will need to hold an ALRC club membership (like Red Rose Land Rover Club).  And an accompanying (free) MSUK RS Clubman license.

If entering something other than a Land Rover.  Or a none-ALRC spec Land Rover.  You will need to hold a motorsport club membership (such as Northern Monkeys, Staffs and Shrops, NORC etc).  And an accompanying (free) MSUK RS Clubman license.
